Documentation process
Please be assured every effort will be made by the medical teams to avoid any unnecessary delays to families and carers who wish to arrange for a burial service to comply with religious practice.
If you wish to proceed with a burial, please be aware that the Medical Certificate for the Cause of Death will be completed at the earliest opportunity. This will then be provided to the Duty Site team for them to forward to the appropriate on call Registry office.
No documentation will be given to the family at the time of death. All legal documentation that is required for the Registration will be forwarded by the duty team.
