Our trust is organised into four clinical divisions: 

  • Urgent Care and Medicine
  • Surgery and TACC (Theatres, Anaesthetics & Critical Care)
  • Women’s, Children’s and Support Services
  • Older People, Neurosciences and Integrated Care

Each has a director for medicine, nursing and midwifery, and operations. 

Urgent Care and Medicine

 

Portrait photoDr Orchard trained in the North West Thames region. As part of his training he undertook a research degree with the CF team at the Brompton and has also worked with the transplant team at Harefield.

He joined Frimley Park as a consultant in 2014. He looks after both CF patients and also bronchiectasis and general respiratory patients. He is the clinical lead for thoracic medicine and the high dependency unit for Frimley Health.

Dr Orchard took on the role of Divisional Medical Director for Urgent Care and Medicine in October 2025.

Sarah took on the role of Divisional Director of Nursing for Urgent Care and Medicine in October 2025.

Lauren took on the role of Divisional Director of Operations for Urgent Care and Medicine in October 2025.

Surgery and TACC (Theatres, Anaesthetics & Critical Care)

Portrait photoSuzy trained at St Thomas’ Hospital and has 34 years’ experience as a nurse- primarily in critical care and surgery. She has worked in six NHS Trusts in England & Scotland and spent 10 years in a senior leadership role within surgery at Frimley Health. She took on the role of Divisional Director of Nursing for Surgery and Theatres, Anaesthetics & Critical Care in October 2025.

Angela took on the role of Divisional Director of Operations for Surgery and Theatres, Anaesthetics & Critical Care in October 2025.

Women’s, Children’s and Support Services

Rekha Sanghavi.pngDr Sanghavi was appointed as a Consultant Paediatrician with Neonatal interest to Wexham Park Hospital in 2003. She qualified in Kolkata, India before undertaking Paediatric Training in the Oxford Deanery. She has held the roles of Neonatal Lead for Wexham Park, Deputy Chief of Service for Paediatrics since 2014 and Chief of Service since 2020. Rekha took on the role of Divisional Medical Director for Women’s, Children’s and Support Services in October 2025.

Portrait photoJill has worked in the NHS for over 40 years. Her clinical background is in paediatrics and she spent 22 years in PICU, and 15 years as a Band 7 ward manager, split between Great Ormond Street Hospital and Southampton Children’s Hospital. She led the development of Southampton Oxford Retrieval Team (PICU retrieval services). Jill then moved into education and led the Southampton Children’s Hospital Nurse education team for 6 years during which time she developed a portfolio of 46 Specialist training courses for Nursing teams within the TVW region.

Jill moved to FHFT in 2022 to take up role of Head of Nursing for Paediatric and Neonatal services. She took on the role of Divisional Director of Nursing for Women’s, Children’s and Support Services in October 2025.

Portrait photoEmma qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1986 and a Midwife in 1993, and gained an MSC in 2013. She has worked in differing roles for the past 39 years as clinical nurse and midwife and in midwifery management and commissioning, and as project lead across the southeast coast area for 11 maternity services. She is a Professional Midwifery Advocate (PMA). 

Emma has been at Frimley Health since 2017 and took on the role of Director of Midwifery for Women’s, Children’s and Support Services in October 2025.

Julie took on the role of Divisional Director of Operations for Women’s, Children’s and Support Services in October 2025.

Older People, Neurosciences and Integrated Care

Portrait photoDr Abbott is a consultant Geriatrician and the Divisional Medical Director for the Community, Older People's Medicine, Neurosciences and Integrated Care directorate and the trust lead for End of Life Care.  She is also the Deputy Chief Medical Officer for Frimley ICB and NHSE SE Regional Clinical Advisor for frailty, working as part of the UEC improvement team. Lucy has worked clinically across all settings including acute frailty, acute inpatient, community rehabilitation, outpatient and hospital at home.  She holds a masters degree in gerontology and has a passion for quality improvement and service development. She has introduced an acute frailty team, older person's short stay unit and hospital at home service as well as implementing the ReSPECT process at the trust and proactive community frailty meetings with community partners.

Lucy took on the role of Divisional Medical Director for Older People, Neurosciences and Integrated Care in October 2025.

Dee took on the role of Divisional Director of Nursing for Older People, Neurosciences and Integrated Care in October 2025.

Nicky took on the role of Divisional Director of Operations for Older People, Neurosciences and Integrated Care in October 2025.
