Introduction

This webpage is for young people between the ages of 16-24 years, who have received a diagnosis of cancer, and or undergoing cancer treatment. The leaflet is designed to inform you of the services that are available to support you and your family during this journey.

We understand that the needs of teenagers and young adults can be different from young children and older people. We, as trained and experienced specialist nurses, can understand the challenges and the impact of the cancer diagnosis. We are here to provide you with the support that is required during this difficult time, by providing you with relevant information and emotional and practical support as your needs require.

This page will provide you with information about the TYA cancer services for young people across Frimley Health, who may be receiving treatment from various other cancer centres, depending on the type of cancer.

Team members
