FHFT does not offer a direct access referral service for Paediatric ECGs. Where there is concern about a child’s cardiac condition, we recommend the GPs/OOH clinician calls the Urgent Clinical Paediatric Advice line (hotline) to discuss the child’s symptoms and clinical presentation. The paediatric team will then advise and arrange ECG/investigations where appropriate. GPs may also wish to consider their ECG LCS where clinically applicable. To note, the LCS should be used for primary care work-up only (not for secondary care/community/mental health requests).
