EpicCare Link is a secure web-based portal, giving primary care teams real-time access to their patients’ Frimley Health records in real time.

We are inviting GP practices to take part in a visit from Epic’s Research and Development team to help shape future improvements to ‘Epic Care Link’, planned for 5 or 6 October 2026.

Insight from practices is especially valuable in helping to ensure future development is informed by how the system is used in practice and aligned to operational needs.

What participation would involve

  • A visit at a mutually convenient time lasting approximately one hour.
  • Discussion with site administrators and other users of Epic Care Link.
  • An opportunity to demonstrate how Epic Care Link fits into your daily workflow and which activities you use most often.
  • Discussion about what works well and where improvements could make the biggest difference.
  • A chance to contribute directly to future development.

These visits are intended to be collaborative and an informal opportunity for the team to listen, learn and better understand how Epic Care Link supports patient care in practice.

It would be most helpful to see the system in a normal working environment. There is no need to arrange a formal meeting space. If possible, the Epic’s Research and Development team would welcome the opportunity to observe real examples of routine use during the visit.

We are looking for volunteer practices who would be happy to support this visit and share their experience of using EpicCare Link. If your practice would be willing to take part or would like to find out more, please email fhft.epiccarelink@nhs.net by 31 July 2026.
