A new link is now available on your EpicCare Link login screen (see screenshot below), allowing you to use your NHSmail and nhs.net account credentials for quick and easy access to Epic (FHFT patient-level real-time information). Early feedback has been very positive, with one practice commenting:

Please note, your original username/password access is still available to you. If you need to switch from SSO login to username/password login, please do not use the back arrow as this will not work. You will need to close-down and reopen the Epic link page.

Frimley Health’s ‘EpicCare Link’ is a secure web-based portal that allows our primary care clinicians and teams to access our Electronic Patient Record called ‘Epic’ to view their patient’s Frimley Health chart in real-time. GP practice teams can use ECL it to drill into clinical visits that occur at the Trust to view discharge summaries, medication changes, notes, results, and more.  Please see full details on how to sign up. Please remember that EpicCare Link is an additional functionality that you have a choice in signing up to. It does not replace any of your existing patient documentation processes, but many GPs and teams have found it incredibly helpful.
