The FHFT Cancer Access Policy has been updated to reflect the latest national Cancer Waiting Times Guidance (Version 12.1, July 2025). Following feedback from GPs earlier in the year, the revised policy also provides further clarification on patient availability and blood/investigation requirements during the patient work-up process and at the point of referral. These key updates were discussed at the Clinical Interface Committee (CIC) and Elective Steering Group (ESG), in collaboration with GP Leads and the LMC. The Cancer Access policy is also available on the FHFT GP Centre website.
