Outstanding Service Award for Heatherwood

Heatherwood hospital and the Parkside team have been awarded the Presidential Cup for ‘providing outstanding service to the community’ at the Maidenhead and District Chamber of Commerce annual MGM.

The event was organised and hosted by President of Chambers, Seema Goyle, supported by The Rt Hon Theresa May, with guests from over 130 local businesses. Mrs Goyal’s Mum had been a patient at Parkside in Heatherwood and had praised the exceptional care she received, and the services provided by the hospital.

The prestigious award was presented at a gala dinner in Moor Hall in Cookham last month, with four staff attending to represent the Heatherwood team - including head of private patients and overseas business, Emma Ahern, general manager of Heatherwood, Liz Dean,  consultant orthopaedic surgeon Rakesh Kucheria and head of nursing Marianna Vlahovic.
