FHFT staff meet PM’s wife for coffee

Three Frimley Health colleagues travelled to 10 Downing Street last week for a cuppa with the prime minister’s wife.

Macmillan information and support manager Jess Tutton, Macmillan information and support officer Caroline Holmes and cancer care practice development nurse Param Pangali were among the NHS professionals, cancer survivors and Macmillan staff invited to a Macmillan coffee morning with Akshata Murty, wife of PM Rishi Sunak.

The event aimed to further highlight the ongoing impact of cancer, as well as Macmillan’s work to support people diagnosed with the disease.

The next Macmillan coffee morning at Frimley Health will be held on 20 October in Wexham Park’s Courtyard Restaurant, 10am-12noon. All donations of cakes are welcome and can be brought to the Macmillan Information Centre on the day of the sale.
