EPIC Training and Library Access from March 2022

From Monday 21st March, both libraries will be predominantly closed to users until the EPIC training finishes at the end of June.

Frimley: 24/7 access is still available (but with reduced space); the Quiet Study Room has been converted to an IT/study room with 6 spaces.

Wexham: An alternative library space has been arranged.

The room is located on the 2nd floor of the tower block (turn left at the top of the stairs on the second landing) and is available 24/7.

Please note the following:

  • Access is via the double-doors along the main hospital corridor between the crossroads and pharmacy. ID badge access is required, so if your badge doesn’t work, please contact Security (ext. 153115).

  • There are currently 8 working PCs in the room. If possible please bring your own device in case a computer is not available.

  • There is a printer/scanner/photocopier in the room.

  • The closest toilets are on the ground floor next to the crossroads.

We will continue providing our regular library services, and the room will be the main collection and dropping off point for books. Please feel free to browse the online catalogue and contact us with any requests.

The EPIC project team will be giving us the training schedules shortly for us to publicize more precise physical library availability.

Remote library services will be accessible as usual from:

Library staff can be reached 9am-5pm Monday to Friday via:
