Hospital heroes were honoured as colleagues celebrated their achievements at Frimley Health's annual awards night.

The ceremony at the Royal Berkshire Hotel in Ascot ​applauded outstanding work to improve the experiences of patients and the delivery of services at Frimley Park, Wexham Park and Heatherwood hospitals, as well as our satellite units.

Chief executive Sir Andrew Morris and director of HR and corporate services Janet King read out the citations while chairman Pradip Patel presented the awards. 

Some reflected the trust's core values — committed to excellence, working together and facing the future; others were presented under banners of patient safety, team award, customer care and leadership.

Pradip told staff: "In healthcare, you can't overstate the importance of the people we have. Tonight we celebrate some of those people who have done heroic work to make a difference to our patients.

"It's a privilege and an honour to be here to celebrate these phenomenal achievements."
