We are writing to inform you of changes to our walk-in X-ray service at Wexham Park Hospital, following the opening of the Slough Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC). 

From Monday 1 June 2026, the walk-in X-ray service at Wexham Park Hospital will operate a reduced service of Monday to Friday 8am-5.15pm (rather than 8am-7.30pm). Patients requiring access to extended evening hours are instead invited to attend the Slough Community Diagnostic Centre (Slough CDC) walk-in X-ray service, which is open 7 days a week, 8am-8pm, except Christmas Day.   

Where possible, we recommend patients attend the dedicated community diagnostic centres at Slough and Heatherwood, as these provide a more comfortable environment, quicker access, and help to relieve pressure on our acute hospital sites.
