Are you waiting for a hospital appointment? To help us provide timely care to those who need it most, we regularly review our outpatient waiting lists.

About 7,000 appointments are lost each month because patients no longer need them or do not attend. By keeping our records up to date, we can offer those appointments to others who need them.

What you need to know:

  • We’ll contact you every three months to check if you still need your appointment and whether there have been any changes to your condition.
  • If you're registered with our MyFrimleyHealth Record app, you’ll receive a notification.
  • If we have your email address, you’ll receive a secure link to a short questionnaire.
  • Soon, we may also contact patients by SMS if we have a mobile number on file.

Why it matters:

Responding to these messages helps ensure you stay on the waiting list. If we don’t hear from you, you may be discharged back to your GP.
