Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is proud to mark a year of remarkable progress and improvement, as reflected in this year’s NHS Oversight Framework league tables. The trust has been placed in Segment 3, which is assigned to all hospitals nationwide with a reported financial deficit, in line with the national “financial override” rule. This segmentation highlights the national approach to financial recovery and is not a reflection on the quality of care, dedication or innovation happening every day at Frimley Health.
The trust has continued to go from strength to strength and Frimley Health’s organisational delivery score now ranks us 37th among all acute trusts in England, an achievement that celebrates the hard work, compassion and professionalism of every member of our team.
Recent CQC inspections highlight Frimley Health’s national standing:
The trust is also delivering real change through new investments and innovation, including the recent opening of a £49 million inpatient and diagnostic building at Frimley Park, the state-of-the-art Community Diagnostic Centre in Slough, and digital advances like virtual wards and patient-facing apps. Frimley Health’s dedication to improvement and partnership working is also visible in shorter waiting times and national recognition for quality and safety initiatives.
Chief Executive Lance McCarthy said:
“Our Segment 3 rating is based on our financial position rather than a reflection of the passion of colleagues and the quality of care we continue to provide.”
