Frimley Health is the first NHS trust in the UK to launch Bedside – the latest addition to our MyFrimleyHealth Record app.
If you’re well enough to use your smartphone or tablet, you can check what’s happening with your emergency care at any given moment and see what to expect next. You can also:
- View test results
- Learn about any medication prescribed
- Find out who is in your care team
- Submit requests such as for an update on your care
Bedside also links to helpful and trusted health information online. It saves time for you and our teams in the Emergency Department by enabling you to record medication that you regularly take at home and, if necessary, electronically give consent if you need to undergo a procedure.
Bedside opens automatically on MyFrimleyHealth Record when you check in to the Emergency Department at either Frimley Park Hospital or Wexham Park Hospital. If you haven’t yet registered for MyFrimleyHealth Record but provide us with a mobile phone number at check-in, we’ll send you a text message prompting you to download the app.
The introduction of Bedside underlines our commitment to invest in modern infrastructure and technology that will improve care and experience for our patients.

Bedside is the latest development in our MyFrimleyHealth Record app that is transforming how patients interact with their care.
MyFrimleyHealth Record gives you easy access to much of the medical record. You can also:
- Book and manage appointments
- Securely message your care team
- Attend online consultations
- View medications, test results and letters
- Give permission for a trusted friend or family member to manage your care on your behalf.
By sending and receiving information electronically, it could even help you to avoid some hospital appointments entirely, saving you both time and travel costs.
MyFrimleyHealth Record should not be confused with the NHS app. Both are valuable, but MyFrimleyHealth Record is specifically tailored to a patient’s care at our trust and offers features and insights unique to our services.
