Frimley Health has launched a new Patient Information Library on the Trust website. Find it under: Patients and visitors --> Patient information
The library went live on 26 May, bringing patient information together in one central place to make health information easier to find, access and share. It will help support patients and carers before, during and after their care, while also helping staff to share clear, consistent and up-to-date information.
Patient information plays an important role in helping people understand their care, treatment and choices. It allows patients and carers to access information online and use the accessibility tools available on the Trust website.
These tools can support people to:
This means patients and carers can view information in a way that better meets their individual communication needs.
Patient information can now be shared using a simple web link. This helps patients and carers access the most up-to-date version of the information. Where a printed copy is needed, staff and patients can print directly from the web page. However, digital sharing is encouraged where appropriate, so people can benefit from the website’s accessibility features.
The new library is part of a wider programme of work to improve how patient information is created, reviewed and shared across the Trust. Over the last year, teams across Frimley Health have supported the review and migration of patient information to the new library.
In May 2025, the Trust had 603 pieces of patient information, twelve months later, this has increased to 998 pieces of patient information. This progress shows the commitment of teams across the Trust to improving communication with patients and carers.
The new approach supports the Trust’s commitment to providing information that is clear, accessible and meaningful. Patient information should be developed with feedback and input from patients and carers to help make sure the information reflects what matters most to the people using our services. Clear and accessible information will help patients feel more informed, more involved and more confident in their care.
Moving patient information onto the Trust website also supports a more sustainable way of working. By sharing information digitally, the Trust can reduce unnecessary printing, avoid waste and make it easier to keep information updated.
