The national new hospital programme has issued the following update in the Hospital 2.0 Alliance mobilisation process.

The New Hospital Programme (NHP) has reached a milestone in the Hospital 2.0 Alliance mobilisation process.

The Hospital 2.0 Alliance, mobilised earlier this year when 10 Construction Partners were appointed on to the Hospital 2.0 Framework, providing the capability to support delivery of the biggest health infrastructure programme in a generation.

This work has been undertaken in close collaboration between NHP, wave 1 Trusts and the framework contractors, with a focus on ensuring the best outcomes for schemes and programme.

While significant progress has been made, the programme remains subject to stringent governance and contractual requirements ahead of contract execution in the summer.

As a result, NHP, participating Trusts and construction partners will not be commenting further on individual partnerships, allocation outcomes or commercial arrangements at this stage.

Further information will be shared in line with programme governance and procurement requirements, once contracts are signed in summer 2026.
