At Frimley Health, we are proud to help local communities learn more about careers within the NHS through our work experience programme. Whether you are interested in working on hospital wards or in a non-clinical support role, our gold award winning programme offers the chance to gain valuable experience that can help you plan your future career in the NHS.
Our work experience opportunities are open to people aged 14 and over (with some restrictions in certain areas) and provide an in-person placement of up to five days at one of our hospital sites. We use a hybrid approach, which means all applicants must first complete our in-house online programme before applying for a face-to-face placement.

Work experience placements are offered during five set weeks each year and are highly competitive. While we do our best to offer placements where possible, we regret that we cannot guarantee an in-person placement for everyone who applies.
Age restrictions for work experience at Frimley Health:
Aged 14+ for administration and non-patient facing areas only
Aged 16+ for clinical areas with some restrictions
Aged 17+ for theatre teams
Aged 18+ for maternity teams
