Patient Choice award – nominated by patients and families
One of the most meaningful STaR awards is the Patient Choice award.
This award is nominated only by patients or their families and honours individuals or teams who deliver exceptional, compassionate and truly patient centred care.
It recognises colleagues who:
- Listened and treated people with dignity and respect
- Explained things clearly and supported shared decision making
- Went beyond what was expected
- Made a clear and positive difference to patient experience or outcomes
