Following the recent meningitis outbreak in Kent, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) with NHS England and the government are coordinating a targeted vaccination programme against MenB.

The most common symptoms to be aware of:

  • High temperature
  • Vomiting
  • Rash that does not fade when a glass is rolled over it
  • Headache
  • Drowsiness or unresponsiveness
  • Stiff neck
  • Aversion to bright light
