The Real Birth Digital Programme

We provide most of our antenatal education through The Real Birth Digital Programme.

You can also speak to your community midwife about local antenatal education sessions in your area, which are offered by some of our antenatal teams.

This course is free for you to access.

It is available in English, Welsh, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Sorani-Kurdish, Urdu, Tamil and Arabic. It also has accessibility features, video content and audio guides in all languages.

The course has 12 hours of content and includes breathing and massage techniques.

You can access your course via a QR code provided by your midwife, or you can access the course here.

The Real Birth Digital Programme is a birth preparation course like no other, that explains what happens in your body and to your baby during birth. The course uses clear explanations and videos to guide you.

You will learn about the different options and choices you can make in many birth situations, too.  There are also massage and breathing techniques for you to practice.

Understanding more about your body in labour helps you to feel more confident, make informed choices, and reduce stress during birth.
