Dietitians at Frimley Health work closely with doctors, nurses, other members of the health care team and the hospital catering department.

The service encompasses dietary advice and/or nutrition support to inpatients and outpatients referred from consultants and other health professionals.

Inpatient services: We have an inpatient service available for patients at Frimley Park Hospital, Wexham Park Hospital, Farnham Community Hospital and Fleet Community Hospital.

Outpatient services: These take place at Frimley Park Hospital, Wexham Park Hospital, Heatherwood, Aldershot Centre for Health, Fleet Community Hospital, Farnham Hospital (Farnham Centre for Health), Hook and Hartley Wintney Surgery, Odiham Surgery, Oakland’s Medical Centre and Monteagle Surgery in Yateley.

Community services: Dietitians also offer management and support to all patients on home enteral feeding.

DESMOND' Diabetes courses are offered to patients with newly diagnosed Type 2 diabetes in the north east Hants and Farnham clinical commissioning group (CCG) area. A similar course called 'Expert' is offered to Surrey Heath CCG patients.

Referral to a dietitian: In order to see a dietitian, you need to be referred by your doctor or another member of your health care team.
