Proxy access guide
Managing your health just got easier
From 30 September Frimley Health patients will be able to manage their hospital referrals, appointments and supporting information via the NHS App.
This is initially for patients using physiotherapy services only.
Patients with the NHS app have previously been able to book GP appointments and view certain test results, however, the newly integrated and more expansive NHS App will now allow patients to view and manage their hospital appointments and more - ensuring all their healthcare needs are in one place. This is especially helpful if you also receive care at other hospitals.
It's simple and secure – so if you’re not one of the 38 million people already signed up, get set up on the NHS App.
It also provides another way to access your MyFrimleyHealth Record account directly from your appointment information shown in the NHS App.
You can still access your MyFrimleyHealth Record account directly, using the mobile app or the MyFrimleyHealth Record website.
MyFrimleyHealth Record , which is unique to patients of Frimley Health, is still in use and can provide a more thorough view of a patient’s health care journey within the trust.
Patients can choose to use MyFrimleyHealth Record as they do now, or alternatively can access it by using the button within the NHS App.
Patients do not need a MyFrimleyHealth Record account to view basic appointment information in the NHS App. Appointment details are securely shared from the trust's clinical systems to the NHS App.
The NHS App and MyFrimleyHealth Record
The NHS app allows patients to:

If a patient is aged 16-17, they may not be able to view or manage some of their appointments. This is because some trusts require patients to be aged 18 or over to access these appointments.
You will receive notifications such as appointment reminders in the NHS App, unless you choose to turn off notifications through your phone settings.
To stop text messages: Reply STOP to the last appointment message received. Once stopped, if you want these back, you will have to go back through the process.
