Choose the right service for your urgent needs
The chaplaincy department offers compassionate care and pastoral support to all Frimley Health patients and their families, and to all staff.
Being in hospital can be a worrying and unsettling experience. Spiritual care is part of the holistic all-round care available for you while you are in hospital. Our team of experienced and trained healthcare chaplains and volunteers are here to provide non-judgmental pastoral, spiritual, and religious care to those who request it.
The chaplaincy team recognise that all people have spiritual needs even if they do not follow a particular religion or faith. These include emotions, relationships, fears, hopes, identity and purpose.
Spiritual needs can relate to a specific faith, religion or culture, they can be unique to an individual’s experiences, values and beliefs. People may want to talk through some of the pressures and problems they are facing, while other may need a companion for this part of their journey and value having a chaplain alongside them.
In emergencies, the best way to contact us is via the main switchboard 0300 614 5000.
When asked if you know the name or ward, please say “operator”. The operator will be able to put you in touch with the chaplain on call for that hospital.
