We're going through an exciting change to transform and improve our services.
We've introduced a new electronic patient record system: Epic (EPR). This means we will be able to further embrace and deliver our vision to be a leader in health and wellbeing, delivering exceptional services for our local communities.
As this is a new system, our staff may take a little longer to complete some of the administrative functions while caring for you over the next few weeks. Please be assured, continuing to deliver the highest standards of care and patient safety remains our first priority. We will do all we can to minimise any impact to you, but we do ask for a little understanding as we take this important step in our transformation.
Epic EPR is the best-in-class system and was chosen by our clinicians, who have remained a central part of the team developing and delivering our EPR.
We are really excited about this next phase of our transformation to more modern digital processes and the positive benefits that it means for our staff and our patients. Please do speak to a member of staff if you have any concerns.
