Completed EACWe have built a state-of-the-art emergency assessment centre (EAC) at Wexham Park Hospital which will be one of the finest facilities of its kind in the NHS.

The 9,300sq m, four-storey project is bringing our emergency department, ambulatory care and assessment units and other urgent care services together under one roof for the first time.

It will improve the hospital experience for our patients, provide a better working environment for our staff and enable better collaboration between the clinicians caring for you.

Construction work began in April 2017 and was completed at the end of 2018. The first services moved in at the end of February 2019 and the building will be fully open when the emergency department transfers in early April.
