Come and see our plans for a new emergency department at Wexham Park Hospital.

Proposals for the new A&E and assessment centre at will go on show at Slough’s Queensmere Observatory Shopping Centre on Wednesday 13 July.

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the hospital, will be sharing its vision for the £49m project with a display in The Observatory between 10.30am and 3.30pm.

Visitors can view the plans and give their feedback.

The event follows a previous public engagement event held at Wexham Park Hospital in May.

The proposed emergency department would contain separate children’s and minor injuries units as well as 36 individual rooms for major injuries.

The building would also include a 34-bed combined assessment and ambulatory care centre.

If approved, construction work could start in spring 2017.

The proposal is part of a multi-million pound investment programme to transform services at Wexham Park and Ascot’s Heatherwood Hospital over the next few years.
