Learn about vision for hospital’s future
Hear about plans for the future of Heatherwood Hospital at a community engagement event this month.
Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the Ascot hospital, is reaching out to local people to discuss its planned £72m investment in the site.
Key members of the hospital team will be talking about the scheme during a two-day drop-in event at Ascot Racecourse on 28 and 29 April.
They will walk visitors through the current plans and listen to ideas about making best use of the development opportunity.
The scheme is in its early stages and the trust wants to involve the local community on each step of the journey.
Frimley Health Director of HR and Corporate Services Janet King said: “We do hope you will join us to see our latest ideas for this great development.
“Heatherwood and the services it provides are important to the local community and we have one chance to secure a long term future.
“We want to make sure that people understand where we are heading and why, and to listen to what is important as we develop the plan in greater detail.”
The event will be open between 6pm and 8pm on Thursday 28 April and between 10am and midday on Friday 29 April. There is no need to book a place, just turn up.
