The successful graduation of our newly qualified clinicians has been celebrated across Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.

In ceremonies at Frimley Park and Wexham Park hospitals, nurses, midwives, operating department practitioners and assistant practitioners received their certificates and badges in the company of friends and family.
Duncan Burton, director of nursing, and Professor Geeta Menon, director of education, attended both ceremonies.

Duncan said: “This is always a really special time of year. We’re immensely proud of our students at Frimley Health and it’s great to see all their hard work pay off.”

Special awards at the Frimley Park event on October 9 were presented to Aleksandra Klamut from the acute cardiac ward and Helen Gould from the fracture clinic for providing outstanding mentoring in their fields.

The best ward environment for students category was won by the gynaecology team on ward F15.

Winners at the Wexham Park ceremony on 18 October were Sarah Lavelle from the emergency department and Jane Swift from maternity, who both scooped the outstanding mentor prize.

The best learning environment award went to the midwifery team on Ward 10.Professor Menon said: “We’re really lucky to have such a high standard of student clinicians graduating each year and I wish them every success in their professional careers.”
