Elections have just begun to find four public governors and two staff governors to help shape the future of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
You don’t need any special qualifications, just a passion and enthusiasm for the work of the Trust.
However, you should be aged 16 years or over and a member of the Trust on or before the closing date for receipt of nominations, and reside in one of the constituencies listed here.
We are seeking public governors to fill one seat in each of the following constituencies:
- Surrey Heath and Runnymede
- Chiltern and South Bucks
- Windsor and Maidenhead
- Rest of England
And we need a governor from among our staff to represent each of the following:
- Frimley Park Hospital
- Heatherwood and community hospitals
As a member of the Council of Governors (CoG), you would be part of a 22-strong team that holds the Frimley Health board to account for its performance and represents the interests of the Trust’s members, staff and the public.
If you would like to make a difference and join the CoG, the first step is to complete a nomination form. This, along with all the information you need, is available on our website, www.fhft.nhs.uk/becomeagovernor.
For further information or an informal chat about the governor role please contact Frimley Health’s company secretariat on 07721 242262 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
