Remembering our babies - a service for all

The baby remembrance service is for those who have experienced losing their babies either before or shortly after birth and are warmly invited to this special remembrance service at Wexham Park Hospital.

The baby remembrance service will take place at 1pm on Saturday 25 November in the Postgraduate Medical Centre at Wexham Park Hospital.

The short service will provide an opportunity to remember all babies that have passed away in any circumstances. It will include reflection, poems, music, the lighting of candles and the releasing of a balloon in memory of each baby following the service.

The service has been organized by the lead chaplain Peter Blackshire alongside bereavement midwife Nicola Sharman and in partnership with the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society (SANDS).

The remembrance service will offer families a chance to come together and remember their babies in a sympathetic and understanding environment. Some families will come to remember a recent loss. Others will come to remember a baby who was lost many years ago. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Refreshments will be served after the service.
