Our radiography departments have won praise from CQC inspectors for our commitment to care and great feedback from patients in Friends and Family Tests.
With a comprehensive range of medical imaging services across our three main sites at Frimley Park Hospital, Heatherwood Hospital and Wexham Park Hospital, the service is continually improving what we offer our patients both in terms of the quality of care and the diagnostic technologies we deliver.
We believe that helping our radiographers to achieve personal career goals is key to the overall success of the service, so you will enjoy working in a happy, supportive team for a trust that is committed to your ongoing professional development.
Strong support from the start
On joining Frimley Health, our Band 5 radiographers benefit from a six-month induction period under the guidance of a senior member of the team. You will also enjoy mentorship throughout a 12-month structured programme during which you will complete your supervised core competency practice requirement. Following the completion of this programme, and when you feel ready, we will support your progression to Band 6.
The range of services we provide includes fluoroscopy, mammography, MRI scanning and bone density scanning. At Frimley Health we’re committed to training all of our radiographers in everything from the angiography catheterization laboratory to computerised tomography and MRI.
Comprising three main hospital sites – Frimley Park, near Camberley, and Heatherwood in Ascot, and Wexham Park in Slough - Frimley Health FT employees are ideally placed to enjoy both city life and rural pursuits.
With trains from Slough to London Paddington taking just 20 minutes, exploring everything the capital has to offer is simple. Meanwhile, the more rural home counties and Hampshire mean you’re never far from a peaceful countryside escape. All in all, Frimley Health offers a great working environment and a great quality of life for you and your family.
