We’re in Surrey, close to the Hampshire and Berkshire borders
The hospital is located in Frimley. It’s close to the M3 motorway, so easily accessible. The town itself has a Waitrose, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants - lots of our team live locally.

You’ll find other towns all around
Frimley lies just a mile south of Camberley. It’s also a short journey to towns like Farnborough, Aldershot and Fleet - while Basingstoke, Guildford and Bracknell are not far.

London is on your doorstep
Frimley is about 35 minutes on the fast train from London Waterloo or it’s easily reached in the car via the M3. That means the capital’s close enough for day-trips or even an evening or night out. Some employees even live in London and commute to us.

You’re close to fresh air, tranquillity and green space
Surrey is one of the greenest counties in England. The beautiful South Downs National Park is close at hand and it’s not far to the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding National Beauty either. As Frimley’s on the M3, it’s an hour or so drive down to the New Forrest and South Coast too. There’s certainly far less of the stress and pollution of big cities.

It’s family friendly - there’s lots for kids
Schools in the area are good - and the area’s a good place to grow up. You certainly won’t be bored for things to do - there’s plenty on offer from more traditional attractions like castles and parks to high-wire fun at the Go Ape activity centre in Bracknell, and the Gravity Force trampoline centre in Camberley.

It’s not London house prices
Housing is expensive across the South East - including some of the commuter towns near Frimley. But there are lots of good value homes of all kinds, especially when you compare prices to London.

We’re in Berkshire, Ascot and close to Bracknell
Heatherwood Hospital is less than one mile west of Ascot and around three miles east of Bracknell Town Centre. Ascot is a small town that’s famed for its racecourse - there are shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Bracknell is a much bigger town of over 75,000 people. It’s about 30 miles west of London and 11 miles south east of Reading. There are a number of major employers in the town and it’s also popular with commuters. There’s been a major redevelopment of the centre which is almost complete.

Commute from near or far
People commute to the hospital from many parts of Surrey and Berkshire and even London. It’s around 50 minutes by train from Ascot station into London Waterloo and you can also connect directly to Reading (roughly 25 minutes), Aldershot (about 30 minutes), and towns like Guildford are less than an hour away.

London’s easy to reach
Our employees get to enjoy the attractions of London, without having to live with the hustle, bustle, stress and pollution of the capital.

It’s not London house prices
Some areas near the hospital are very affluent and property prices reflect that - but Bracknell and many other places nearby offer good value, especially compared to London.

The great outdoors is close
The Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire countrysides are easily reached from the hospital. You might be into country pubs and leisurely walks - or something more adventurous. If you enjoy sports and hobbies you will be spoilt for choice.

Lots for kids
Legoland is nearby, as is the Chessington World of Adventures and there are countless other attractions and things to do. Plus there’s always London for weekends.

We’re just west of London (north of Slough)
Wexham Park Hospital is around two miles north of Slough town centre. Slough is only 20 miles west of Central London. Slough’s a large town - 140,000 people live in the borough. The town centre is currently being redeveloped and there are all the shops and amenities you’d expect of a town this size.

Commute from near or far
People commute to the hospital from many parts of Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and London. We’re within close proximity to the M4, M40 and M25 and a direct train into London Paddington can get you there in less than 30 minutes, whilst Reading can be reached by train in less than 15 minutes.

London’s easy to reach
If you’re near Wexham Park, you’re not far from London and its attractions. There are good and frequent rail connections from Slough and the car journey is quick outside of rush hour.

It’s not London house prices
Some areas near the hospital are undeniably expensive, but the region has plenty of good value homes too, especially compared to London.

The great outdoors is close
This may surprise you, but this part of the Thames Valley has the highest average daytime temperatures in the country, so if you are into the great outdoors, we can’t always promise it, but hopefully there will be good weather for you to enjoy it! The Berkshire, Surrey and Bucks countrysides are easily reached from the hospital.

Lots for kids
Legoland is just 20 or so minutes down the road and with Windsor Castle and the River Thames almost on our doorstep, there are lots of attractions and things to do. Plus there’s always London for weekends.
