Frimley Health FT – our reputation

Frimley Health Foundation Trust is an organisation where the highest standards of clinical excellence are the ambition of every health professional, housekeeper and manager. We already enjoy the best Care Quality Commission rating of any multi-site trust in the country, with Frimley Park Hospital, in Camberley, the first hospital in the country to receive the ‘outstanding’ rating in 2014. Our Heatherwood and Wexham Park hospitals are both rated ‘good’ and with funds already committed to redevelopment and improvement projects, ‘outstanding’ ratings across the Trust are our aim.

Opportunities for learning

We know how important it is to feel that you are continuing to grow and develop your skills as a doctor. That’s why we strive to ensure that our junior doctors enjoy rotations that are challenging and absorbing.

We are proud to host medics from the Military Defence Medical Group South East at our Frimley Park Hospital site, where our NHS doctors have been working in partnership with military surgical, medical and nursing personnel to care for our local community for twenty years.

The package

Our doctors enjoy attractive renumeration packages and all of the lifestyle benefits that come from living and working in this desirable part of the country. Our catchment area offers excellent transport links to London and the south east’s coastline, while the semi-rural environment provides plenty of opportunities to escape to the countryside. Add to that the high levels of employment, good schools and generally prosperous communities, and you’ve got the answer to why our area consistently scores among the top places to live in the annual Halifax Quality of Life Survey.

World-famous places and events

Our Heatherwood and Wexham Park hospitals are at the heart of communities in The Royal Borough of Berkshire, where Her Majesty The Queen has her world-reknowned family home, Windsor Castle. The castle and its Great Park may be the jewel in the crown, but the Frimley Health area is also home to Royal Ascot racecourse, which the Queen herself attends every year, while Princes William and Harry both attended the nearby Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. Just down the road from our Frimley Park Hospital site, the town of Farnborough hosts the thrilling world-famous International Airshow.
