Frimley Health Values Logo

Welcome message from Dr Pippa Skippage, Director of Clinical Education:
On behalf of the Education Team welcome to Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust!
Here at Frimley Health we treat the education, training and development of all our staff members as a priority. We aim to provide the best training environment that we can and to help you achieve your aims and potential during your attachment with us.
We have an excellent reputation for teaching and training with many of our students and juniors returning to work here once fully qualified.
We have worked hard to develop a friendly, supportive, professional and highly knowledgeable education faculty so that we are best placed to support you with whatever questions, queries or quandaries you may have.
We ask only one thing of you and that is that you help us to help you - without your engagement and feedback we cannot progress, so please get involved!
I look forward to meeting many of you and sincerely hope that you enjoy and value your time here at Frimley Health.

Welcome to the Post Graduate Education Centre

The Post Graduate Education Centre is responsible for the continuation of training of all junior doctors which includes Foundation and Specialty Trainees for Medicine.

The Director of Medical Education and the wider education team is responsible for ensuring facilities are in place to maximise the training and learning requirements of medical staff. The training provided by the PGEC is governed by the General Medical Council (GMC) and outlines postgraduate training through Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery, who work closely with local NHS Trusts to provide an individual educational training programme.

All Junior Doctors at Frimley Park have an Educational Supervisor (ES) as well as a Clinical Supervisor. The ES will ensure that their respective trainee is given learning opportunities and guidance that will allow the trainee to develop against training standards set out by local and GMC requirements.

The PGEC is also utilised by other healthcare professionals for meetings, MDTs, workshops and training.

We also host regional and national conferences, exhibitions and workshops.

We are open 8am-5pm Monday to Friday.
